Over the years Pod Umna Village has grown into what is now considered a very special, calm and relaxing location. It is also very safe, as we run Podumna as a gated facility and strictly residential it is a great place for young children to enjoy and gives parents peace of mind. We do our very best to ensure that you have a fantastic stay with us.

Pod Umna Village is a fully secured and gated facility with CCTV cameras in operation plus it is a managed facility with a member of staff on call to assist 24 hours a day. Each pod has a lockable front door. We also have secure, off-road car parking for our guests.
Each Pod comes complete with two wall lights, a double socket, electric oil heaters and a mirror. Each Pod is fully insulated throughout with earth wool which keeps them nice and cosy and warm inside. Our mega pod or ‘Honeymoon’ as we prefer to call it is fully equipped with a double bed. All our other Pods come with extremely comfortable camping mattresses.
Yes, luxury bed linen (i.e. mattress, sheets, duvet and pillows) now comes as standard for all accommodation types.
In a stand against the use of single-use plastic items. We are asking all our guests not to buy and bring these items to Podumna Village. We have for a long time taken this stance and make sure to offer our guests the best quality Glassware, Delph and cutlery for their use.
All you need to bring with you is yourself, a sense of adventure, towels and shower supplies. We can provide you with linen, delph and cutlery. Towels are available to rent at reception for anyone who forgets.

Check-in time is 2 pm. We will do our utmost best to accommodate all guests upon arrival but cannot guarantee an earlier check-in due to high occupancy.
Check out time is 12 noon. Due to high occupancy, we must ensure all guests are checked out by midday in order to prepare for our arrivals at 2 pm.
The village is well equipped for children as we cater for all ages. We have baby changing facilities in De Burgos Gate Lodge. We also have high chairs available in our dining room and travel cots for your little ones to sleep in (please indicate when booking if you require a cot and high chair). We can also arrange for an on-site babysitting service if you wish.
De Burgos Gate Lodge has a designated dining room and fully equipped self-catering kitchen on site where visitors can prepare their own food and enjoy it in our forty seater dining room. There are a number of top quality and reasonably priced restaurants and cafes all within an easy two-minute walk from Pod Umna Village.

We have a strong no smoking policy within the pods. If smoking occurs in the pod’s guests will be fined with a soilage and cleaning charge on top of their bill. Guests may smoke on their decking area and outside we will have cigarette butt bins.
Yes. We are set up to cater for large and small groups. Our facilities include meeting/training rooms and these can be arranged for your business needs with Wi-Fi, overhead projectors, drop-down Screen, whiteboards, meeting tables, suitable for workshops and team building.
Yes, our sister company ‘Dick’s Bike Hire’ is located within Pod Umna village. Please let us know prior to arrival that you wish to hire bikes and we can have them available for you upon arrival. Alternatively, you can check availability and books bikes online via www.dicksbikehire.ie
At the moment the village is not pet friendly, however, we do plan to get a Pet Pod in the near future which will allow our guests to bring their furry friends on camp too. Alternatively, If you wish to bring your pet along please contact us and we will try and make arrangements depending on guests within the village during your stay. Pets are not allowed inside the Pods.
Yes. We provide a friendly babysitting service at your request. We recommend that you pre-book at the time of booking in order to ensure availability. Mutual agreement between parents and sitters is to be decided for payment.
With regard to advanced group bookings, a non-refundable 50 euro per person is required to secure the date and booking. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances once the booking has been confirmed. No group booking will be taken for groups less than 20 persons, in the event that a group falls below the minimum 20 person threshold the cost of the booking will be reflected to cover the loss of guest(s).
Yes. We take a deposit of a one-night stay. This deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled 3 days prior to arrival.
We will require 3 days notice with a non-refundable deposit of any cancellation or shortening of stay. However, if you cancel within the 3 days prior to your stay you may be subject to an additional cancellation charge.
Careful inspection of each accommodation is carried out after each guest checks out. Guests will be charged for the cost of damage, breakages, repairs and cleaning costs to any soiled areas. If it is within the cost of the deposit, the guest will not be refunded their deposit. If it is more than the deposit the guest is legally obliged to pay the excess cost.

Yes. We have a safe at reception which will be sealed and signed in by you and placed and locked securely in the safe.

Yes. We cater for all dietary needs. Please inform us at the booking stage so we can cater for you.

Yes. Lunch must be pre-ordered at the time of booking.
Yes. Our dining room can be used as a games room in the evening time for all ages.
All pods and rooms are serviced once a day by our accommodation team. This standard service is included within our rate, additional service is available upon request.
All linen is changed after every two sleeps.
If you lose your key a charge to change the locks will be applied due to safety for our guests.
Yes. Subject to availability. We will try to accommodate extension requests with less notice but if there is availability it will be limited.
Although there are no toilets and showers within the Pods, they are within close proximity in De Burgos Gate Lodge.
Toilets and Shower facilities are next doors to our dormitory rooms.
We also have 3 indoor ensuite rooms with a toilet & shower.
Yes. Each Pod is wired and fitted with a double socket for your use.
